Ester is now selling earrings using her own wildlife photography as a template. Printed onto anodised aluminium, they’re super lightweight with each earring weighing less than 3 grams. They are durable in all weather conditions and are high-quality but affordable. They’re printed one-sided and will certainly be a conversation piece dangling from your ear. The aluminium bit is 4cm long, and will come with either a standard earring hook or a latch-back hook that hangs 3.5cm down, both made from sterling silver.
The packaging has been designed with an environmentally theme in mind. Each pair comes in its own little tin stamped with Ester’s logo (as tin is eternally recyclable) and filled with sheep wool for padding. Jiffy eco-envelopes are used for shipping and all paper used is made from recyclable materials. Each pair of earrings is associated with a different charitable environmental organisation, and 25% of all profits will be gifted to each charity.
They’re on sale here, or you can also head over to Etsy. Ester also a separate Instagram and Facebook page dedicated to the earrings.
